Solved: MAC Address Filter for multiple SSID in WLC 2504

Hi All,

I need to configure Local MAC address database in WLC 2504 and need to enable it to 5 to 6 SSID. I am able to create MAC address filter database and can assign only one profile and cannot able to create same MAC address filter for different profile.

Can anyone suggest what is possible solution

Hi @Vasantakumaar

There are some limitation here. You can see that on the WLAN you can only enable Mac Filter, you can not specify a Mac Filter List.

Also, When you create the Mac Filter you need to apply it to either one WLAN id or another WLAN id but you cannot enter the same entry again and attribute to another WLAN id.

In order to have more control, you should have RADIUS server. With local Mac Filter you are not accomplish what you need.
