I have a couple of AP340's set up to do LEAP authentication via RADIUS on ACS. All of my clients, until today, were Cisco NICs. I have a need to enable and configure MAC authentication for a Lucent NIC. Has anyone had any success enabling both LEAP and MAC authentication on the same ACS? Did you have any problems with authentication? My AP is reporting an "Unsupported Authentication Algorithm" error.

Sounds like Lucents authentication is proprietary. You might try to see if the Lucent client has some switches or updates that will allow it to play with non-Lucent APs.

I also have LEAP running on AP340/350s and I am pretty sure that once you enable EAP authentication (LEAP) on the access point that you can only use Cisco cards. The AP won't differentiate between Cisco and non-Cisco cards to determine if it should authenticate via LEAP or only MAC. To the best of my knowledge LEAP overrides any other authentication scheme..
