Hello Experts,

Hope all are doing well!

1. In a deployment there were 2600 series AP & now client ordered 1600 series AP. In one floor both the models are deployed, now interesting is 1600 series does not support clean air & 2600 is with clean air will both the AP work smooth in Mixed ? if, no ! if, we disable clean air in 2600 than?

2. I see clients getting ms.. high like more than 10ms - 100ms (TTL) any solution for the same ? Or what are the issue it is caused so that we can try to find out the reason.

Thanks in advance !

1600 supports CleanAir Express.  The CleanAir process is done on the APs CPU vs dedicated hardware.

Mixing them is fine.

Not enough info to do any troubleshooting.

I have the same question regarding mixing 3502s and 3602s on the same floor, all in the same AP group, on an 8540.  Any known issues with that type of deployment?

I would even go as far as ask the same question about mixing 3702s with 3502s/3602s (or even both).

Thank you in advance.

Nope.

Nope.

Anything on paper that supports such a deployment?  It would make sense that if there were known issues, we'd know about them already.  Just hearing different stories through the grapevine, would be nice to have something official.  I have heard of RRM (would never really settle on a channel scheme) issues with 3702s and 3602s/3502s, but have not seen the issue first hand.  Could have been software related, as 7.6.120.0 was the code running at the time of said incident.

This is correct.  Everything hinges on the version of code running in the WLC.

Read the Release Notes of the different version of the code and this should give you an overview of the different bugs available.
