Mobility Express Issues after Upgrade

Dear All,

I've upgraded my Cisco AP1815i (from version 8.5.182 to 8.10.183) which is a mobility express and capwap at the same time. After upgrade, capwap remains unchanged while no access to mobility express, it seems like the IP of the mobility express has changed also.

I checked that the AP Image type is mobility express, but how can I change the mobility express IP? I couldn't find any command for such while logged in as SSH,

Thanks!

Use a console cable (or ssh into it with the current ip) and use the commands;

en
capwap ap ip [ip-address] [netmask] [default router]

This changes the IP of the capwap, not the mobility express

You are right, I misread the question, thanks for pointing that out!

 - IP address should not change with upgrades  , perhaps someone forgot to save the config , perhaps it is advisable to reset the AP and configure the mobility express setup again (including IP)

If it's the same as AireOS WLC (ME is based on that) then try:
config interface address management <IP> <mask> <gateway>
