Hi,

Can't we even on latest codes add MSE under the Network devices on Prime?

 - Don't know, what happens when you try it ?

This is actually a limitation on product side that we could not add MSE as the network device in Prime.

Just wanted to check if the limitation continues in latest codes as well.

 - That is acknowledged , but what happens then , are you encountering any errors (e.g.) ?

Hi Marce,

Its more like my comprehension about the product was wrong. MSE cannot be added as a Network device since there is not even an option to define snmp community on MSE.

Also the way to add CMX and MSE in CPI belongs at completely different location : Services --> Mobility Service --> MSE /CMX and then we need to add the Device IP address and the admin credentials.

Since the communication between MSE and CMX with CPI needs to be over SOAP/ XML, having them added as network devices to communicate just over SNMP will not even make any sense.
