Need client connected information

Hi All,

We just want to know how many mobile devices connected to wireless network? Is it possible from any tool like prime/MDM.

Hello Viskrish,

If you're running with a WLC, you can check that in MONITOR > Clients

Prime can also provide you that information.

How to take that report in prime.. just mobile devices connections.. not laptops/others

Prime can tell you this, so can your WLC.

If it's just 1 WLC, under Monitor -> Summary -> Client Summary -> Current Clients

Or what do you understand under "mobile devices"?

A laptop is a mobile device, so is a handy or a tablet.

On the Prime (version 3.1) it's under Dashboard -> Client. If you like it in a table view, go to Monitor -> under Monitoring Tools -> Clients and Users and make sure the quick filter (Show:) on the right side is set to Associated Clients.
