Networks on a large cruise ship

Hi guys

im on a large cruise ship this week, it got me thinking about the large network on board.

This ship has 2400 rooms and up to 6000 passengers.

I can see access points around every 10 meters.

anyone worked on these kinds if projects ? If so what were your challenges?
How would the LAN be designed?

I would imagine switch a few switch stacks Nd a distribution layer on each floor going back to a main computer room or 2 ?

id imagine about 10-15 thousand ports?

I see the tv uses IPTV, I assume this is all using multicast, IGMP and PIM?

if anyone has any info, would be interested to know?

   - As far as access points are concerned , it would need to comply with a site survey done being done first , as for all large structures to provide decent coverage. For intranet networking ; they might need  a switch or stack per floor indeed , since they will probably provide many wired connections and outlets too , then having a core network somewhere too.
