We have installed 3 AP's recently, But the clients are not getting connected to new AP's even though if the client nearest to AP. the clients were connected to the furthest access point instead of the nearest their AP.
Out of 4AP's . All the clients are getting connected single AP's.
Can anyone help me to troubleshoot this issue.

2800 comes in two models: 2800I or 2800E.
2800I, "I" stands for Internal (antenna), have built-in WiFi antennas. 2800E, "E" stands for External, does not have an antenna. The 2800E are shipped with a black dust cap/cover to minimize debris from lodging into the antenna socket.
The output from the "sh ap summary" shows the APs installed are 2800E.
Compatible articulated dipole (aka rubber duck) antennas for the 2800E are the AIR-ANT2524D and come in three different colours: Black, Gray or White.
IMPORTANT: Compatible antennas for the 2800/3800 have an orange band around the base.

Again, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Buy the antennas required for the APs (3 APs x 4 antennas each/per AP = 12 antennas), install four antennas per AP (and not less) and then see if it improve things. Easiest and fastest way to determine if the antennas are working is the LED will turn from solid green to solid blue.

Update the wireless NIC of the wireless clients.

Hi Leo,
Thank you for your reply
Please find the attached Image for AP. This Wireless infrastructure is specifically used for Zebra scanners. Can we debug any AP log from the controller before suggesting to client to upgrade the driver for the scanners. Client may ask us to provide us evidence.

Slow down. Let's not get ahead of ourselves without making an effort to perform any basic troubleshooting:

Try again. That photo is AP7070.8b0f.936c.
How do I know? Because that AP in the photo is a 2700 and with a BLUE LED. And the only AP2700 and with wireless clients is AP7070.8b0f.936c.
Give me the picture of the other three.

Wait a second ... I know what is going on here.
There is only ONE (1) AP2700 and the rest are 2800. The Zebra handset, what is the exact model? The wireless NIC of the Zebra handset is ONLY 2.4 Ghz, isn't it?
Post the complete output to the following command:

I want pictures of the 2800. All of them.
If they have those "black" stubs, I have a big surprise for you: They are NOT antennas. They are dust cover/shipping covers.

Presently these photos only we are having. I will try to get the remaining three AP'S photo.
I guess new AP's not having antenna's.
1,Antenna it be supplied with AP's or do we need purchase separately? because these are all purchased recently.
2,2800 Series AP have inbuilt antenna? or without antenna it will not work?
3, I am not too sure MC33 model is having 2.4 or 5 ghz. Do we need change the setting in WLC?
