I have an aironet AP that is atleast 3 years old. I just bought a Netgear Wireless Router. Will thie Aironet AP be able to connect with my Netgear router within the same wireless network?

There is no real need for two wireless devices.
Take back the netgear wireless router and get a netgear ethernet router and use that to connect your access point ethernet traffic to the router. This way, your wireless clients will still be attached to the Cisco Aironet box. All traffic that needs to be routed will be going via the ethernet port of the AP to the Netgear router.

here is the issue. I have the Cisco AP on another building and the signal is just strong enough to get to all the clients. I figure adding the wireless router also lets me quit internet sharing out of my XP box as well. I just want to know if the two will link up together on the same network so all wireless clients can still see each other no matter if they are attached to the AP or the router for their wireless connection.
