Hello,
We are interested in disabling the 802.11b data rates on one of our 5508 WLCs. However, we do not want to do this globally as we do have some WAPs in an area that still support 802.11b clients. so, we want to advertise 802.11b rates only on specific WAPs. Is this possible? We are running 7.0.116.0.

Hi,
Very much possible but not on 7.0116.0. Its possible on any version where RF profile are possible where you can make a Profile under wireless > Rf profile and then apply that in an AP group. You can override few of the Global RF parameters for APs in an AP group like data rates. This is to give special treatment to few APs where different RF Parameters are desirable.
It is present in 7.4..dont remember if present on 7.3 etc.check the release notes.
