pitched roof

Hi

I got a classroom with pitched roof. I wonder if mounting the AP like in the attached picture would negativly affect the signal (I mean mounting the AP not 90° degrees)

What options do I have to be able to mount the AP 90°?

I would mount the AP on the wall using a right-angle bracket because maintaining an AP that high will be an issue.

right-angle bracket on a wall?

If on a wall, would it work fine if it is not mounted in the middle of the room, when it comes to digital exams?

Same side of the wall (or even the opposite wall) to the interactive whiteboard.  Put a right-angle bracket so the AP is facing the floor.

Really, the height isn't much, so I wouldn't expect much issue at the 45 angle.

If you wanted, you could get maintenance to put a board at the peak and have the AP centered of you wanted.

We have some APs mounted at 30ft up, so they will work at a considerable distance.

General rule
Internal OMNI APs no more than 4m high from client.
Flat mount - Either 90 degree bracket off wall or some method to drop the AP down from ceiling and mount flush
There are also some articulating AP brackets from the likes of Oberon and Ventevinfra that can help tilt the AP
