H iGuys,
I'm interested to know if there is a way to setup a point to point bridge between two buildings (porta cabins) using a couple of Cisco CAP2702I Access points. As these APs are lightweight, I am using a 5508 WLC to manage these APs. I have a couple of APs to play around with; once I change the AP mode to 'Bridge', the AP gets a 'reset' message from the controller and then it restarts. However, upon restart the AP loses connection to the controller and it is not manageable except from the cli.
So back to the objective of my post, how can I use the cli to set up two CAP2702I APs to form a bridge between two networks? Additionally, which antenna should I buy if I go ahead with a CAP2602E that I have in stock as well.
thank you,
Ahmed

I have set up a bridge based on 2 autonomous AP's using the following guide:
http://mrncciew.com/2013/01/18/workgroup-bridge-wgb-configurations/
He also has some more info on configuring bridges:
http://mrncciew.com//?s=bridge&search=Go
I have never configured it using a lightweight setup so cant help you with that.
Maybe this document helps:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless-mobility/wireless-mesh/111451-indoor-mesh-deploy-guide-00.html
As to which antenna can be used that depends to what the range should be.
