@Jim Kerr no matter what vendor you use, you do need line of sight and you need to ensure you have enough clearance for your Fresnel zone.  There are many different calculators to help you on this. Some vendors also have tools to help lineup your links and show you the strength and interference so you can decide on a channel.

1.  Where are the MESH APs located?  Are they going to be located on the roof?  Are they going to be located behind glass?

2.  If they are behind glass, are the glass classified as "low e"?

3.  What is the distance between the two buildings?

4.  Is there clear line of sight to the two buildings?

5.  If the MESH APs are situated inside the building (instead of on the roof), does the building have WiFi motion sensors deployed that may significantly impact the available channels used?

6.  Check the channels currently used and determine how busy they are during business hours.
