Powering Mesh AP with power-injector AIR-PWRINJ6

Hello,

I want to know if it is possible to provide power to a Mesh AP with a power injector like AIR-PWRINJ6, without connecting this to a switch port !
Because it is easier to use a Power injector than a Power adaptator is case there is no power outlet near the mesh AP

Yes you can use a Power injector to power up the mesh access point.
You can find the supported powering options on the data sheet of the specific Access Point.

For example, below for the 1540 series:

What is the exact model of AP you're planning to power up?

Power injector : AIR-PWRINJ6
