I have two(2) cisco 5508 wireless controllers. All of the ap's are associated to controller A. I just upgraded controller B to 7.6.130. When the upgrade was completed, there was a short message regarding the pre-deployment of the software to the ap's to avoid a lengthy downtime. I have to move all my ap's to controller B prior to upgrading controller A. How do I download the software to the ap's so make the process go faster? TIA

A few take aways.
1) When you push code to a WLC it goes into the primary spot and the current code does into back up. You can see this with show boot. You can swap these with the swap command.
2) When you push code to a AP it goes to the backup spot. You need to do the ap image swap command to move it to primary. Make sure when you reboot the WLC the APs new code is in primary on the APs!
