Prime Infrastructure, Rogue APs and a new WLC

Hi all

I've got a PI 3.2 a new WLC 5520, which replaced 2 old WiSMs. I managed the rogue APs through the prime over all the years and have categorized them (mostly the Friendly - External ones).

So I don't have Rogue APs on the PI, but if I go directly on the webinterface of the WLC, I see the active rogues as unclassified. Is there a way to apply my old rogue database from the PI to the WLC, or do I have to configure the new WLC by hand (if I don't want them to be unclassified on the WLC)?

Thanks

Patrick

I normally leave Rogue APs alone.

Unless you've proven that the unsanctioned Rogue AP is located INSIDE the premises then it is your call.

However, do remember that containing a Rogue AP can bring about legal action.

We have a small company inside our premises, which has their own APs, so they are allowed. Also we have various experiments running in some rooms, where they also use their own APs. This is why I want the known ones marked, while the unknown ones should trigger an alarm.
