Problem upgrading Mobility Express with different Series (1850&2800)

Hello Guys,

I'm trying to upgrade a Mobility Express Environment with AP from different series. We have a 1850 (7 units) AP Serie and 2800 (1 unit) AP Serie. Now are working well, we just need to apply upgrades for all. The question is, if we need to unmount and upgrade separately the AIR-AP2802I-B-K9.

Regards

check what is the current version running. and check what version you looking to upgrade (check the matrix of AP supported images before upgrading, and read the release notes)

follow the below video :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9GRWbsVAT4

Also depends on device you need to upgrade from command level :

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/8-2/b_Mobility_Express_Deployment_guide/b_Mobility_Express_Deployment_guide_chapter_01000.html

You can do them all at once but the key point is you need a TFTP server with all the new images on (unzipped from the ME .zip file) and the TFTP server details must be configured on the ME WLC.  When you upgrade the ME WLC it will instruct the rest of the APs to download their images from the TFTP server.
