Hello,
I have got a little test network.
Please, refer to the diagram.
I am wondering how would a proper QoS implementation look like.
On the WLC AVC is turned on, marking protocol type X with DSCP 46 and Y with DSCP 36.
Under the WLAN settings, AVC and QoS profile is enabled and set to Platinum.
Under QoS Profile "Platinum" Wires QoS protocol set to 802.1p and CoS value of 6.
This CoS value is the maxium allowed CoS value, is not it?
Based on this documentation http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/solutions/Enterprise/Mobility/emob73dg/emob73/ch5_QoS.html
the switchport where AP is connected should trust DSCP, and where the WLC is, should trust CoS.
How does enabled AVC change those settings? (If it does)
Which switchport should expect DSCP and which one should expect CoS?
Thank you for clarifying me!

Cannot see your diagram (pls attach it to see)

Yes, it is.

This is important up-to AireOS code 8.0 as it change QoS behavior since that code. Prior to 8.0, you have to trust CoS on WLC connected switch ports where as you can trust DSCP from AireOS 8.0 onward. If you trust DSCP and running 8.0 onward code, these QoS/802.1p values can be ignored.
Refer this video for more detail.
