Public hotspot solution

Hi all,

I have a 4402 and wcs. I'm working in a project to provide public access to web thought 1242AG AP's. I have just one cable of optic fibre/media converter that i can plug ONE AP on the wired network and use the 4402/wcs to control it.

The question is, can i use this unique wired/highlighted AP to bridge connections from 3 others AP's that i will spread around the park?

Any clues of how to do it?

From another post, I remember that you can use the 1242 as a mesh ap, but you have to purchase a license for each ap. Then you can run the mesh code on the WLC. I don't know if WCS will really help you so much since ou only have one controller and it is for open guest access. The fibre/media converter can plug into your rap and the other ap's can act as a map.

You might be able to use the 1242 as an LWAP and other aps as a WGB. Might be cheaper.
