Hi there,
Can anyone tell me if the AIR-BR1310G-A-K9-R has an internal antenna?
I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere!
Cheers,

HI,
The part number (the model number) of the device will dictate if the device comes with a internal antenna or if it needs an external antenns. For example, AIR-BR1310G-A-K9 is a 1310G bridge which comes with an integrated antenna. AIR-BR1310G-A-K9-R requires an external antenna.
You must buy external antenna for your AP.

Yes it does.
The Cisco Aironet 1300 Series with integrated antenna can be quickly installed to provide a LAN bridge to a remote site or multiple sites. The 1300 Series with antenna connectors supports a variety of Cisco 2.4-GHz antennas, providing range and coverage versatility.

thanks for replying.
I'm still not clear though on whether the AIR-BR1310G-A-K9-R contains an internal antenna or whether I will need to purchase an external one.

Thanks a lot!
Can you recommend an suitable (outside use) omni-direction antenna?
I was looking at the AIR-ANT2506. I presume there is just one antenna to buy per access point?
Thanks again,
H
