"Hyphen" vs "Single-Hyphen" when configuring MAC-Delimiter option

Hi;

When configuring Catalyst 9800 MAC-Delimiter option in Server Groups definition; what is the difference between "Hyphen" and "Single-Hyphen" options:

 - Initially I would say   yes  , but there could be dependencies how stuff is implemented on various platforms ,
