Radio interface goes down, %LWAPP-3-RADIO_CRASH error message

Hello,

I have a wireless AP's 1131G associated with a WiSM 1 using H-Reap.

I have noticed that the wireless interface goes down some times but it doesnt lose the association with the WiSM, and to restore the functionality of the Wireless Interface you must perform a restart for the AP.

I have reviewd a cisco document and the solution was as follows:

Error Message    %LWAPP-3-RADIO_CRASH: Radio ([dec]) crashed and generated a core dump
on AP [hex]:[hex]:[hex]:[hex]:[hex]:[hex]

Explanation    An error has occurred on the radio for the specified AP. The AP might not function as expected.

Recommended Action    Collect the radio crash information for the AP and contact technical assistance.

Any ideas

Thanx in advance

Hi Ma'moun,

Can you get me show run-config and the crash file { Management -> Tech support }

and a show tech, show log,show trace dot11_rst from the AP .

There are many radio firmware fixes which went into 7.0.220.0 so it would be best to test that release..

Thanks..Salil
