Hi All,
I have a multi vendor wireless network where some of the AP's require the vlan name ( trapeze AP's ) to be returned from the radius server ( ACS ), whereas the Cisco AP's require the VLAN ID ( numerical value) to be returned. Any thoughts as to how we can get the two to interop? Is there any way to get the Cisco APs ( 1200's mostly) to recognize the vlan name?
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
thanks!
Chris

Refer to the Using VLANs with Cisco Aironet Wireless Equipment doc.

Hi Chris,
Yes it is possible. From gui kindly go to
Services> Vlan > Select Vlan from current Vlan and Tag them with Vlan name. And hit on apply.
This will allow you to use both Vlan number and Vlan name .
Thanks ,
kunal
