Hi All,
In our WLAN test environment we repeatedly see the behavior in which the client sends many "reassociation requests". Also in the associated aircaptures (Wireshark) we cannot see any answers (acknoledge or response) by the AP.
After several such attempts, the client sends a “deauthentication” which is answered with an “acknowledgment”.
Afterwards the client is starting a new authentication which runs completely until to the end of the 4-way handshake. What causes can lead to such behavior that the access point does not respond to the requests?
Our Test environment consists of:
Wireshark-Screenshots of the process are attached.
Regards,
Peter

- Use client debugging according to https://logadvisor.cisco.com/logadvisor/wireless/9800/9800ClientConnectivity ,
you can have client debugs (RadioActive Traces) analyzed with : https://cway.cisco.com/tools/WirelessDebugAnalyzer/
- Check radius server's logs
- Have a checkup of the WLC C9800-L-C configuration with the CLI command show tech wireless ; feed the output into
Wireless Config Analyzer

Hi @marce1000 and @Leo Laohoo,
thanks for your fast response.
Are there any possible solutions for those bugs or is known whether Cisco is working on a Firmware-Update for the C9800-L-C

Raise a TAC Case. Maybe WNBU might release an APSP.
