Resetting Cisco 1142n to factory defaults

I have a Cisco 1142n access point that I need to reset to factory default. Will factory reset also erase the IOS too. The system image file is:

c1140-k9w8-mx.153-3.jd16

Press the mode button and reconnect the power. Hold the mode button for at least 2 seconds when its powering on.

 

if that does not work you can try to run "write default-config"   and then reload the AP while connect to the AP via SSH or Console port

Factory reset the ap:

To reset the AP to the default factory-shipped configuration, keep the mode button pressed for less than 20 seconds. The AP configuration files are cleared.
