Setting a wpa2 Password on Cisco 1142

Have an autonomous ap im configuring for use. When i enter the password in ASCII format it tells me I can't use a ? character. Is there any way around this? This is my software version,

Cisco IOS Software, C1140 Software (C1140-K9W7-M), Version 15.3(3)JD17, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2).

Thanks.

So it would help if i payed attention. I was using the easy setup GUI when creating the SSID. In the text box it said to enter a password in "HEXADECIMAL" format. That's where the ? isn't allowed. The ? is allowed in the ascii format in the SSID Manager.

Try pressing Ctrl+V and then the question-mark.

No ? is not allowed in PSK on Cisco autonomous IOS APs, even on WLC.

I was under the impression that I had used "?" before, but I was not sure. So, I tested it on my 9800-CL, and it works with question marks. Perhaps that changed sometime in the past?

wlan TEMP-TEST 99 TEMP-TEST
 security wpa psk set-key ascii 0 123??678
 no security wpa akm dot1x
 security wpa akm psk
 security pmf optional
 no shutdown
