Hi,
I have a Aironet AP1262N's that I am trying to see if it can support 802.11u. Specifically I want to find out if they can be configured with a hotspot profile with its access network type set to "chargeable-public-network". There are supposed to be a number of mobile devices which when connected to an SSID with this enabled, will limit their background traffic (things like cloud syncing, automatic downloads, backups, etc).
Any pointers you may have on this or previous experience would be greatly appreciated.
thank you,

no the AP1262 series cannot do this in stand-alone mode
they might in lightweight mode connected to a wireless controller
BUT.... this model is end-of-life and so only supported with deferred versions of the controller software
