Setting up Mesh on 5508

I am attempting to set up MESH/Bridging on one of my 5500 WLC's and the unit will not allow (open a page) when I click:

The 802.11a to change the TxPower settings. Is there another setting that must be altered first?

Hi,

Make sure you enter the ethernet mac address of the APs in mac filter list on the WLC.

Then make the one in your network as RAP (Root Access Point) and the next one as MAP(Mesh Access Point). Make sure that both of them are in proper Line of Sight. The channels for 5GHz would also matter.You might need to tweak the vlan transparent feature in Mesh

From the controller Console ,issue the following command.

config ap mode bridge "Name of the AP"
