Hi guys,
I'm trying to configure a new Self managed AP.
The problem is that it need a license and the only way to provision it is to use the cisco smart account.
When I try to create an account it tell me that I need a valid company name to proceed but it's for a homelab and I don't have a company.
Do you know a way I can proceed ?

What has this to do with anything within the Collaboration area? It would likely be better fit in the Wireless part of the community so I’m moving it there.

- and what version of software is the AP running?
Both Mobility Express (ME) and Embedded Wireless Controller (EWC) for AP do NOT require smart licensing to work - only required if you want to manage from DNA centre.

I was able to create an account using my personal email which I do use for my home lab. It does show limited, but that doesn't matter to me. Depending on whom you purchased the equipment from, they should also be able to help you either create and validate that any licenses goes to your smart account.
