Hi together,
i want to purchase the Cisco AP 9115AXI-EWC as a private person. I already own 3 Switches from the Catalyst 1200/1300 series. So i wanted to stay at the same company for my APs. So now i had a look at the latest sofware veriones for this 9115AXI-EWC. But it tells me i have register with a company to get the download. So is it true that it is not possible as a private person to get bug fixes and updates for this device ?
Best regards

- For software downloads your cisco username used must have been assigned with the Correct Service Contract for the product. I presume as a private person this may be difficult (correction) because the standard Cisco sequence and procedures won't like it so to speak,

Thanks for the reply. Ok so looks like i have to stay with a Cisco SMB (SMB has no 4x4 MU-MIMO AP) device ore have a look for products from a other company, because as a privat person i can not make a service contract.
Thats sad cause i realy like the Cisco products. Not cheap but reliable.

Have you considered Meraki (subscription required) or Meraki Go (no subscription required, also no 4x4 option at present)?
All the latest Meraki APs (CW9xxx) are shared between Cisco Catalyst and Meraki - same hardware, different firmware/software.

Thank you. The Meraki with subscription is not realy a option. Meraki Go looks not bad. But isn't that like HPE Aruba Always on. that you have to use the cloud?
I think otherways i will have a look for the Ruckus Unleashed R650.

Yes Meraki uses cloud based management.
