Solution Question - EAP /DHCP

Hello,

I'm currently trying to setup a lightweight 1242 AP, which has been downgraded to allow autonomous configuration.

If I configure the SSID as open, with a WEP this works fine. It grabs DHCP from the local site.

I cannot get my solution to work using EAP of a radius server (MS-IAS) offsite.

It is possible to have a remote radius server authenticate my users and have DHCP supplied from the local segment?

Yes. You can use the local radius server feature on the Autonomous AP to authenticate clients. Read this document which explains how to configure the autonomous AP for the local radius server and to do EAP authentication.
