SSID with WEP encryption disappears on WLC2504?!

Hello,

I have two APs adopted on WLC2504 - AP1562-I and AP1562-D.

The WLC is on the latest software version 8.5.110.0, as well as both APs.

My problem is - if I create a SSID with WEP128 as a security policy it simply doesn't broadcast!

When I change WEP128 to WPA2-PSK it's available and visible immediately.

Needless to say, in both cases both 'Broadcast SSID' and 'Status' checkboxes are checked.

Wasn't able to find a similar issue reported so I decided to ask this fine community here.

If anyone has any clue, please help! I'd be more than glad to supply any of you with any further info you may require...

Thanks!

Darko

Thanks for your quick response... Haven't really thought of that since WLC itself offered WEP as an option

I'm glad it helped.
