strange arp cache on access point

Access point cannot ping its default gateway and in its ARP cache for default gateway I see this:

#sh arp
Address Age (min) Hardware Addr
10.20.30.1   0     FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF

is it correct logic for ARP cache ?

no it is not,

this is the broadcast address, not the gateways mac address

so it indicates it cannot ARP the gateways address

how does this AP gets its IP-configuration? if it's DHCP check the scope settings, if fixed check the AP's config

in both cases check if the address/subnet mask matches that configured on the gateway

IP, subnet, default gateway configured statically as capwap  parameters and they are correct
