Solved: Supported IOS version for Cisco 5508 WLC with AP AIR-CAP3502I-A-K9

Dear all,

i have existing Cisco 5508 Wireless LAN Controller running v8.2.170.0 in production with assocated AP models namely, AIR-CAP3502I-A-K9 / AIR-CAP3602I-A-K9/ AIR-CAP3702I-B-K9/ AIR-AP3802I-B-K9.

May i ask if it is possible to upgrade Cisco 5508 WLC to v8.10.183.0 version to support the AP models model mentioned above?

If not, what is the possible version to upgrade to for Cisco 5508 WLC?

8.5.X.X is the last firmware that can support 3500 & 3600.

The highest version the 5508 can upgrade to is also 8.5.X.X.

Thanks @marce1000 for the prompt reply and link. As i have checked the compatibility link, i could not find the legacy AP model i.e. AP3502i and AP3602i. i am wondering what's the exact 8.5.x.x version to upgrade for Cisco 5508 WLC? Thanks

- You need to search for 3500 and 3600 (it's the overall series)
