take out SFP connector

I have one SFP connector, I plug into the switch, now can't take out, I try to pull out, but fails, how to take out? thanks

There is a latch that folds out once you have removed the Ethernet cable. If when you open the latch the module doesn't come out, then you have an issue and other than trying to pry it out, it might just stay stuck.

Hi

  • First of all, put the switch upside down on a table, so you can see the bottom of the SFP
  • Open the SFP as far as you can without breaking or bending it.
  • The next step is to push the center of the towards the switch, using a flat headed screwdriver. You’ll head a soft “click” once it’s loose.
  • then pull it out from Switch.
