the problem about CiscoView!

I have installed all packages when install CD_One, there is C6000MSFC in the supported devices list, but I can't launch the C6000MSFC device CiscoView, the error messages is "Can't find applicable device package".What the probable cause and how to resolve it,thanks!

Make sure that you have the latest Cisco View device package installed for Cat6000 from CCO. The latest currently is v1-8 which you can get from:

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Software/CiscoView/cvplanner.cgi. Secondly, though MSFC have it's own separate ip address, you cannot just open it up separately in Cisco View. You must use the switch ip address to open up the Cat6K in CV which will also show you the MSFC. MSFC is a child of the switch, therefore you must open the parent switch in CV in order to see MSFC. This is a very common mistake that people do when it comes to using CV with MSFC.
