Hi
I am using Cisco 4402 WLC . I want to create a SSID in this controller which is only broadcasted during the day that is between the time 9.am to 6 .pm is there any way we can achieve this. I am also using WCS to manage the controller and the version is 6.0.170.0.. Please let me know your suggestions
thanks

Ok. This is a common question and this is do-able.
Usine WCS you need to create TWO AP templates. The first template will allow you to DISABLE the radios of the APs and the second template will ENABLE.
On WCS, go to Configure > AP Configuration Templates > Lightweight AP.
Now once you've created your template, you can create a schedule WHEN you want these templates to be invoked and select the APs you want to apply them into.
Hope this helps.

i dont want to disable the Radios but only one of the WLAN, this is because the AP is going to broadcase the WLAN for the internal staffs as well as the Guest, so i just want to disable the Guest WLAN. is there way to do this

Hmmm ... This is going to get complicated.
Without knowing how your Guest SSID is connected or Authenticated it's boils down to this:
If your Guest SSID is OPEN authentication then I'd recommend assigning this SSID to a particular radio, say for example, the b/g radio. Then going back to my first post, create two templates and schedule the deployment. The first template DISABLES the b/g radio only on a particular date and time while the second template enables your b/g radio.
How's that?

i found an another way to do it. In WCS if you go to controller configuration and under WLAN configuration, schedule task and you can select a WLAN create a task to disable at a particular time and enable at a particular time, now i no need to disable to radios instead i disable to WLAN alone.
