Transmit Power

Hi,

Recently, I bought a Cisco Aironet PCMCIA 352 wireless NIC for my notebook. I chose a Cisco card for the fact that it has a transmit power of 100mW for the extra range.

Unfortunately, even with using the latest firmware and ACU, I can manage only 50mW in Singapore. But I have a friend with a similar card but is able to configure it to 100mW.

Can anyone please advise?

Transmit Power value must not be higher than that allowed by your country's regulatory agency (FCC in the U.S., DOC in Canada, ETSI in Europe, MKK in Japan, etc.). Now Tx power dose depend on settings of "World Mode"..on RF network page..
