Troubleshooting the WLC 9800 - A comprehensive Guide

Hello friends, I have some problems with my access points, some people are complaining about performace.

What are the first steps? I already used this tool to help gater some information.

https://developer.cisco.com/docs/wireless-troubleshooting-tools/#!wireless-config-analyzer

In the APs RF Summary 2.40GHz there are some stats that I want to look into a lot deeper.

Noise Profile -> Failed

Interference Profile -> Failed

Load Profile -> Failed

Low Coverage -> Yes

Can some veterans help me out?

   -  Review the  WLC 9800   configuration with the CLI command : show  tech   wireless , have the output analyzed by  https://cway.cisco.com/tools/WirelessAnalyzer/  , please note do not use classical show tech-support (short version) , use the command denoted in green for Wireless Analyzer.               Checkout all advisories!

with the limited info given, it appears that the 2.4 GHz band is too noisy. One suggestion would be to look at moving clients to 5 GHz only band.

If the issues are being caused by the enviroment then you will need to get a site survey done using tools like Ekahau or Airmagnet

Go to the site or the area where the complaints are coming from and confirm/replicate the issue.  There is a fine line between one person having an issue and one person making it look like the entire building is having an issue.  Know the difference.
