Types license on controller 5520

Hello all,

I am beginner in the world wireless , and i need your help.

In my account smart licensing i have 3 types of licensing :

-WLC-AP-T
-AIR-DNA-E-T
-AIR-DNA-NWSTACK-E

Each license have a 50 use , and me i have 2 controller 5520 with  only 50 AP

1-What that is mean these 3 types of license?

2- How can i deploy it in my two controller 5520 ?

Note: i would like to separate the two controller.

Hi,

WLC-AP-T: Wireless LAN Controller Term License
AIR-DNA-E-T: Aironet AP License Term Licenses
AIR-DNA-NWSTACK-E: AIR CISCO DNA Perpetual Network Stack

If you have only 50 AP license then use both WLCs in HA SSPO mode, means if active WLC goes doqn then all configuration /license will be transferred to secondary WLC without any downtime/outage.

My costomer would like to deploy each controller seperated the auther .

if you want to implement seperately then you will need license on both WLCs (50 on each AP - Or as per your requirement).

Configure both WLC seperatly and active the license accordingly.

I dont how many license you need for each controller!!! You will implement these controlle rin diff. locations or ?

Jut to clarify for this scenario , I have

-2 controller separated .

- 50 total AP.

- 3 types of licenses:

                          -WLC-AP-T  ------------> 50 uses
                         -AIR-DNA-E-T-----------> 50 uses
                         -AIR-DNA-NWSTACK-E -----> 50 uses

My question is these licenses are enough to deploy this scenario ?

Ok, means you have in total 50AP License.

Two controller seperately means you have to use 25-25 AP license one each WLC! if thats enough then it will work.

I have another question can i install 50 uses license for each controller in this scenario?

Because i don't know what i have 3 types of licenses each have 50 uses .

No.

As per my understanding its only for one controller with 50 AP license for specific term.

Best is to consult with supplier and ask about the license which you ordered.
