Unable to configure more than one snmp trap receiver with same snmp community string in AireOS WLC.
AireOS WLC
(Cisco Controller) >config snmp trapreceiver create ABCDEFGH 10.10.10.11
SNMP Trap Receiver added!
(Cisco Controller) >config snmp trapreceiver mode enable ABCDEFGH
(Cisco Controller) >config snmp trapreceiver create ABCDEFGH 10.20.20.11
SNMP trap receiver already exists!

In IOS and IOSXE devices I am able to add multiple trap receiver with same community, but couldn't do the same in AireOS WLC, can someone advise if there is any way to do it in AireOS WLC?
IOS and IOSXE Devices

Hi Scott, I have reviewed that link.
Just tried configuring second Trap Receiver Template with same name and it throws error.

I reviewed both the link Scott.
I did capture to see the payload, please see below which was sent by Cisco AireOS WLC and Cisco 2960 switch. whatever I configure as Community name or SNMP Trap Receiver in AireOS WLC is community string, switch has the config which I mentioned in top of this post.

I don't know then, for me, I allow the snmp community to be set to 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 and then define the trap receiver for all the nodes I want the trap s to go to. In the trap receiver, the name is either the ip or the hostname of the trap receiver. If it doesn't work for you, then I would suggest to open a tac case.

I also did packet capture and found that community name or snmp trap receiver name (aireOS terms) is nothing but community value, verified in the payload. If I push two different template from prime, it is going to have different community name or snmp trap receiver name, but my requirement is to have same community name or snmp trap receiver name for multiple IPs
