Hi all,
I tried to connect for the first time to an aironet 1041N with the console port to my PC.
- I cabled the AP with an the ethernet port to a POE cisco switch
- I plugged the console port to my PC
- I used Putty with 9600/8/1/None/Xon
But, I can open the console of th AP.
Any suggestion please ?

try with this setting:
9600/8/None/1/None

Thank you Sandeep for responding,
I tried it but no positive result.
I resolve the problem by cabling the AP to the LAN and let it obtain a dhcp address
the name is ap.domain.local

And you are using a Cisco Console cable going to the Serial port on your desktop?

Yes of course Mohammed Ali. It's a console port with rj45 from one end and from the other end a usb port with an adapter in the middle

I have seen and heard issues like this and was due to the USB to serial adapter. Have you tried a different brand adapter?

Hi!
Firstly connect to the Console port of your aironet via the console port with a console cable.
Then I advise to reset the aironet to factory defaults settings. See link below:
