Hello Folks,
I'm currently planning to perform a pre-deployment survey with AP2800, so I followed those steps
- AP2802i + AIR-PWRINJ6 available
- Connect AP to PoE(out) and console from my PC to the AP
- Convert AP2802i to Mobility express mode,
- follow the welcome wizard and assign static AP to controller "192.168.1.10/24"
- Connect my PC to PoE(in) and set an IP address 192.168.1.10/24
Once done, I can see the SSID I created through Wizard but unable to ping or HTTPS the AP,
I went through a lot of posts but nothing fixed my issue,
Can someone support, the survey is about to start tomorrow,
thank you!

Looks all right .
As you said that AP/WLC has IP:192.168.1.10
Then configure Laptop with some other IP:192.168.1.15, mask: 255.255.255.0
and then try to ping or HTTPS. It must work.
It worked for me (with same setup as you are trying to achieve)

this is weird,
Today I was able to ping the AP and HTTPs to it,
The only difference is I had the AP and PC connected to a cisco small business switch,
I hope the issue won't happen again,
thank you Sandeep for help.
