vWLC saying AP is unsupported

I have vWLC running software version 8.10.142.0

I have a lightweight CAP AIR 2602  "C2600 Software (AP3G2-RCVK9W8-M), Version 15.3(3)JF15"

On the AP I am getting this in the console:

00:57:53.000: %CAPWAP-5-DTLSREQSEND: DTLS connection request sent peer_ip: 192.168.0.2 peer_port: 5246
*Jun 5 00:57:53.239: %CAPWAP-5-DTLSREQSUCC: DTLS connection created sucessfully peer_ip: 192.168.0.2 peer_port: 5246
*Jun 5 00:57:53.239: %CAPWAP-5-SENDJOIN: sending Join Request to 192.168.0.2
*Jun 5 00:57:53.243: %DTLS-5-ALERT: Received WARNING : Close notify alert from 192.168.0.2
*Jun 5 00:57:53.243: %DTLS-5-SEND_ALERT: Send FATAL : Close notify Alert to 192.168.0.2:5246

On  my vWLC logs I am seeing this:

AP with MAC 4c:00:82:b9:82:35 (AIR-CAP2602I-A-K) is unsupported.

Are these versions not able to work together? If so what version do I need to downgrade/upgrade too?

Currently I only have possesion of vWLC versions:

8.2.170

8.5.160

8.10.142

Someone please help out and let me know how to proceed

your APs last support OS version is 8.5.x.

check https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html

you can use WLC version equal to 8.5.x or below that.

If you have these WLC version as you mentioned in the possession, use that WLC for the AP to register :
