WAP561 and WLC5508 or PI

Our organization has WLC5508:s managed by PI2.2. Now we are incorporating another organization that has WAP561:s. Can we manage these with PI or even better is there any firmware to the 561 to make them lightweigt, like some other models that can have stand alone or lightweight firmware?

With the 561, there is not a way to convert it so that your 5508 can manage them.

They are not aironet, you don't hav3 two flavors of software ( lightweight , standalone ), no conversion to lightweight kind is not possible i.e you cant manage them using controller, they are meant for Small-medium-business.
