WCS License Upgrade

Dear All

I am trying to upgrade a WCS running a plus license f 100 access point. with a base license of additional 50 access point.

the base license is already purchase, is there any workaround to do this?

please check attachment to see the error

Hi,

If WCS is licensed for the feature type - PLUS,  only PLUS licenses can be added.

Whereas the license file you're trying to add is a BASE license which can't be stacked on top of a PLUS license. Hence the error reported by 
thus the error.

For ex , WCS-PLUS-50 for plus while WCS-APBASE-50 is for base.

 These are the same licenses ordered by new customers. Licenses are 
additive and ordered in increments whether ordered for a new or existing
 deployment.

Hi Elie,

Just in one line.."Once an installation has the PLUS feature turned on, one cannot go back and add licenses from a lower feature" thats why we are getting that error.
