What is acceptable cell overlap for voice and data services..? Can anyone tell me please??

Hi,

Hope you are reffering to VoIP implementation on wireless.

The optimal VoWLAN network requires overlaps of 20 percent (2.4 GHz), and approximately 15 to 20 percent (5 GHz), where a WLAN Data design may use an AP cell overlap of 5 to 10 percent.

In addition to the percentage overlap values, for a good design, have your cell boundaries as below,

- 65dBm for VoWifi

-72 dBm for data
