Why tagged vlan cannot work in vWLC

Hi, Here is a question. Diagram is like this:     Switch-f0/20------PC(vmware-workstation-vwlc, bridge connection)

switch vlan 10 ip address 10.0.0.1/24

PC ip address 10.0.0.2/24

vWLC management ip address 10.0.0.3/24 untagged

interface f0/20 is in vlan 20

Under the above config, switch and PC can ping vWLC management interface 10.0.0.3 no matter f0/20 at the switch is tagged or untagged. but if we configure the management interface with tagged, both PC and switch can no longer ping the management 10.0.0.3 Is this correct? In what situation we can use tagged management interface? Thank you

It’s documented pretty well about the management interface. If you tag the management, then the switch port needs to be a trunk. Access vlan is basically not tagged.
