Why we enabled adaptive fast transaction feature in wlc 9800l

I have some user connected on 'abc' ssid and it's configured with security features WAPA2 +WAP3 with disabled fast transition mode. 

Earlier user was connected but after some days user disconnected and unable to connect with wlc so when we enabled the fast adaptive mode under wlan ssid abc the user start connecting even with old encryption password.

Now we are u able to find what is the root cause, can someone assist and tell how fast transaction help or how it works under wap2 and 3 security

Adaptive FT with WPA3 is not a valid combination - so either you need to keep it enabled or disabled. If your environment is not 'legacy' and most of the devices are max 2-3 yrs old, then FT-Enabled should work for you.
