Wifi-Mesh with multiple autonomous Aironet 3502I-E-K9

Hey everybody!

Currently I'm trying to set up my own Wifi network with multiple Air3502I-E-K9. Got 4 of them and all are running in autonomous mode(ap3g1-k9w7-tar.153-3.JD17 running on them). Now I'm trying to create a Mesh Network but I'm brutally honest with you guys, I don't know how.

I want to do this without an WLC. So, is it possible and if so, what do I have do configure on each of them to get this running?

The Mesh don't has to have shiny features or anything. Just wan't one of them to act as master and the others as slaves/repeaters, or whatever it is called, to get their SSID and anything else they need.

Kind regards in advance to anybody who can help!

Hello

Here a guide to configure autonomous APs as repeater : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/15-3-3/configuration/guide/cg15-3-3/cg15-3-3-chap19-wgb-standby.html

Not sure you'll success with 3502i (if it is supported). This model is EoL , all docs are retired.

Is is a point to multipoint mesh (one level RAP<->MAPs) ? what is the expected usage ?
